California Grizzly Bear

from 7.00

The Grizzly calls to mind a lost California; a wild, untamed west. The bear continues to march across our state flag, but it no longer roams our mountains. The last of California’s Grizzlies was slain in 1922. It may seem strange that our state animal no longer resides in our state, but perhaps it is good that the grizzly reminds us of that which was lost. The tale of the California Grizzly is both haunting and cautionary.

The giclee prints come mounted on foam core and ready to hang. Because these pieces are so light and manageable, all you need is a single nail for each piece, a hammer, and a bit of wall space to add these to your life. If you prefer framing the works, it is of note that the 12x16 and 18x24 sized are standard frame sizes.
